WWE Reportedly Looking To Lower Ticket Prices Through The Summer

WWE could be set to lower ticket prices in the coming months.
The April 6 edition of Monday Night RAW kicked off with CM Punk delivering a fiery promo to the Houston crowd aimed at both his WrestleMania 42 opponent Roman Reigns, as well as Pat McAfee and TKO Group Holdings following the conclusion of last week’s WWE SmackDown.
Following CM Punk’s promo, Bryan Alvarez reported that WWE appears to be planning to lower ticket prices through the summer.
“If it wasn’t obvious from Punk’s promo, it appears WWE is looking to lower ticket prices through the summer,”
-Bryan Alvarez
While addressing Pat McAfee’s reasoning for aligning with Randy Orton, CM Punk highlighted the former American football punter’s comments about low ticket sales for WrestleMania 42 and eluded to Ari Emanuel needing to lower ticket prices.
WWE ticket prices have been a growing concern as WrestleMania 42 approaches, with the company offering a number of promotions in an attempt to boost attendance as sales continue to stall.
In addition to Alvarez’s comments, BodySlam now reports that sources believe both WWE and TKO are aware of the discussion surrounding ticket pricing, with several top stars said to be pushing for the company to reconsider its stance.
“Sources indicate to Bodyslam that WWE and TKO are very aware of the discussions on social media surrounding ticket prices especially heading into WrestleMania. Another source indicated that several top superstars have been pushing for the company to lower ticket prices as they believe that die hard fans are being priced out and they want them to be able to attend shows in person and enjoy the product.”

WrestleMania 42 is set to take place across April 18 and 19 at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, with Cody Rhodes scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton on Night One, while Roman Reigns will challenge CM Punk for the World Heavyweight Championship to close Night Two.
