Liv Morgan thinks her on-screen partnership with Dominik Mysterio is the best in WWE history.

From Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth to CM Punk and AJ Lee, WWE has played host to some truly iconic couples throughout its tenured history, regardless of whether or not the on-screen pairing plays off relationships outside the squared circle. In recent times, the partnership between Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio has played a key role on Monday Night RAW, and the former Women’s World Champion has now discussed where they rank among the on-screen couples of the past.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on Insight, Liv Morgan gave her view that she and Dominik are the best couple in WWE history.

“We just understand the assignment. I feel like the fans love to hate us, or they hate to love us. It’s such an intriguing, complex, messy, wholesome, love story that we haven’t seen for a while, and I feel like the audience really loves that. I think, honestly, we’re just iconic. I know I say that word a lot, but we’re just iconic together. I think we are the greatest couple in the history of WWE. I’m not just saying that. I mean that wholeheartedly. We’re better than Becky and Seth, we’re better than AJ and CM Punk. We’re better than Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth. I stand on that. I feel like we’ve resurged couples in WWE. What couples were couples before Dominik and I? Now you have tons of people coupling up, trying to do what we do, but they just can’t.”

Despite standing alongside Rhea Ripley for almost two years, Dominik Mysterio officially joined forces with Liv Morgan at SummerSlam 2024. After weeks of uncertainty, second-generation star opted to side with the then Women’s World Champion, ending his association with ‘The Eradicator’.

As part of the Judgment Day, Morgan has established herself as perhaps the top heel in the women’s division on RAW, and her partnership with Mysterio has only added to her presentation. Up next, she’ll look to regain her Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer at WrestleMania 42.

In another recent interview, Morgan opened up on whether she always believed she’d become a star in WWE. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio as soon as we hear more.
