Kyle O’Reilly Says He Hopes To Be Cleared In Time For AEW Dynasty

intro 1764001334

Kyle O’Reilly is hoping to make a comeback at AEW Dynasty.

In December 2025, Kyle O’Reilly revealed that he was dealing with a bulging disc in his back as well as an arm fracture. As a result, O’Reilly has been absent from in-ring action throughout 2026 so far; however, it now appears he could be eyeing a return at All Elite Wrestling’s next major show.

Speaking to Mo Amir of This is VANCOLOR, Kyle O’Reilly teased making his return at the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view this Sunday.

“I really want to be ready in time for the Vancouver pay-per-view, which is Dynasty, coming up this weekend from Rogers Arena. So wink wink, nudge nudge, maybe I’ll be back in time for that.”

-Kyle O’Reilly

AEW Dynasty is set to take place at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on April 12. O’Reilly hails from Delta, British Columbia.

O’Reilly last competed for All Elite Wrestling at AEW Full Gear in November 2025, where he defeated Jon Moxley in a No Holds Barred match. With Moxley set to defend the AEW Continental Championship against Will Ospreay at AEW Dynasty, a returning O’Reilly could stake a claim for the title should he make his comeback in Vancouver.

Elsewhere at AEW Dynasty, a Casino Gauntlet will take place to crown a new AEW TNT Champion after Kyle Fletcher was forced to vacate the title due to injury. The match could present Kyle O’Reilly with the opportunity to make a surprise return and immediately capture championship gold.
