Brie Bella Not Happy That Paige’s WWE Return Was Leaked

Brie Bella wanted Paige’s WWE return at WrestleMania 42 to be a surprise.

Night One of WrestleMania 42 on April 18 saw Paige make her WWE return, replacing the injured Nikki Bella to team with Brie Bella, with the pair capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship in a four-way match against The Irresistible Forces, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss, and Bayley & Lyra Valkyria.

During the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, Brie Bella spoke about her frustration that Paige’s WWE return had been reported ahead of WrestleMania 42.

“The Paige stuff got leaked from a stooge. I’m gonna find out who saw us probably earlier in the week. Just let things be special and a secret. Who runs and tells people… It’s sad. So look yourself in the mirror and really think about what you do next time. I’m gonna find that stooge though because I remember everyone who was around.”

Prior to her return to WWE, Paige had been competing in All Elite Wrestling under her real name Saraya, where she is a former AEW Women’s World Champion. She exited the promotion on March 26, 2025, bringing her three-year tenure with the company to an end.

Both Paige and The Bella Twins were shown in the crowd during last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, and with championship gold now back around her waist, it likely won’t be long before we see Paige competing in a WWE ring once again.
