Trick Williams Reveals Oba Femi Will Be A Groomsman At His Wedding

Trick Williams has nothing but love for fellow rising WWE Superstar Oba Femi.

Oba Femi and Trick Williams were two of the cornerstones of the previous era of NXT, and with both former NXT Champions now enjoying major success on the main roster, Williams has spoken highly of his former rival.

Appearing on Nightcap following a successful WrestleMania debut for both men, Trick Williams praised Oba Femi and revealed that ‘The Ruler’ will be a groomsman at his wedding.

“Oba’s my boy, man. We was at NXT together. We both been on the main roster for about four months now. I gotta brag on him because he’s taking over and I’m taking over on opposite brands. He on RAW, I’m on SmackDown. He’s gonna be in my wedding and everything, man. He’s one of my groomsmen. So shoutout to Oba. He’s doing his thing.”

Night Two of WrestleMania 42 on April 19 began with Oba Femi scoring a dominant victory over Brock Lesnar, with ‘The Beast’ appearing to retire following the bout.

Later that night, Trick Williams defeated Sami Zayn to capture the WWE United States Championship, securing his first taste of championship gold since arriving on Friday Night SmackDown earlier this year.

Fellow NXT alumna and WrestleMania debutant Lash Legend announced that she and Trick Williams were officially engaged back in November of last year, and both look set to be major players in WWE for the foreseeable future.
