NXT Premium Live Events have found a new home.

After a five-year run, it was revealed back in March that NXT’s deal with Peacock was set to come to an end. This meant all of the brand’s content exited the platform, leaving their Premium Live Events without a home heading into Stand & Deliver. In the end, the developmental company had to air its biggest show of the year free on YouTube for viewers in the United States, although it now seems WWE has inked a new deal for NXT Premium Live Events.

As first reported by Front Office Sports and later confirmed by WWE, the CW Network have struck a multi-year deal to broadcast 20 NXT Premium Live Events beginning with this summer’s Great American Bash.

All of NXT’s Premium Live Events will air on The CW in a deal for 20 programs over “the next several years,” beginning with this summer’s Great American Bash.”

This adds to the deal WWE struck with the CW Network in 2024, affording them the rights to broadcast NXT’s weekly show for five years. As of now, the date of this year’s Great American Bash is yet to be confirmed. With last year’s event taking place on July 12, it remains to be seen as to whether WWE will pencil it in for the same weekend, or whether the PLE will be moved to start the new CW deal sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, the brand could look to do special editions of their weekly show such as the recent ‘NXT Revenge’ which took place across the last two weeks.
