Baron Corbin Reportedly Talked About For A WWE Return

WWE have reportedly talked about a Baron Corbin return.
In November 2024, Baron Corbin revealed he’d been told by WWE they wouldn’t be renewing his contract when it came up that January. This ended his 13-year tenure with the company having come through NXT to reach the main roster before having another stint in NXT during the latter stages of his run. However, around 18 months after his departure, it’s been suggested that Corbin could be on his way back to the company.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed a Baron Corbin return has been talked about in WWE.
“Probably back. Right back in WWE. I’ve not heard a done deal, but I know it’s been talked about, yes. On the SmackDown show when Danhausen was talking about something bigger, my gut was that that’s who it is. That’s just my speculation. I just know that he’s been talked with about being brought in. It might even be done but I haven’t had officially confirmed to me it’s done, but I have 100% been confirmed it’s been heavily talked about.”

Since leaving WWE, Corbin has been competed under his real name of Tom Pestock. The 41-year-old has worked HOG and CMLL, but he’s usually found in Major League Wrestkimg, where he’s currently one-half of the MLW Tag Team Champions alongside Donovan Dijak.
Perhaps the highlight of Corbin’s first stint in WWE was his United States Championship win in 2017, though many fans fondly remember when he and Bron Breakker won the NXT Tag Team Titles around nine months before ‘The Lone Wolf’ left the company. For now, whether he makes a comeback to RAW or SmackDown remains to be seen, but it’s certainly something to keep an eye on moving forward.
