Roxanne Perez Says 2025 Royal Rumble Was When She Knew She Belonged On WWE Main Roster
Roxanne Perez reveals the 2025 Royal Rumble was the moment she felt she belonged on the main roster.
In May 2025, Roxanne Perez officially joined the Monday Night RAW roster as the latest NXT call-up. However, months before she ever stepped foot on the main roster, ‘The Prodigy’ featured in the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble, coming in at number three and lasting well over an hour before being the last person eliminated. Now, Perez has looked back on last year’s Royal Rumble as the moment she felt she was ready for the next step.
Speaking to Complex Sports, Roxanne said the 2025 Royal Rumble was when she felt like she belonged on WWE’s main roster.
“Honestly I think that moment for me was the Royal Rumble in 2025 where I outlasted every other woman in the Royal Rumble. And I was the last two, standing with the queen herself, Charlotte Flair. Unfortunately I was eliminated, but as I sat there and watched her celebrate, I just realized, like… I was 23 years old at the time. I’m standing in the ring with Charlotte Flair, a 15 time, 14 time World Champion. This is exactly where I belong.”

A month after her NXT call-up, Roxanne Perez officially joined Judgment Day in a move that initially surprised a lot of viewers. However, it immediately gave the 24-year-old a strong role on the flagship show, especially since she replaced the injured Liv Morgan as one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions upon joining the group.
At present, Roxanne, along with Raquel Rodriguez, remain in the mix for the gold, while Liv Morgan reigns as the Women’s World Champion. Most recently, the Judgment Day lost to Bayley and Lyra Valkyria as the tag team division jockey for position.
