AEW’s Isiah Kassidy Reportedly Banged Up

Isiah Kassidy’s AEW absence isn’t to do with Marq Quen’s injury.
Back in April, just two months, after Private Party had made their AEW return, it was reported that Marq Quen had suffered an injury. With their momentum halted, many wondered whether Isiah Kassidy would continue to wrestle in singles competition in his partner’s absence, but the 28-year-old has remained off our screens since his last tag team outing, and we now know more on his status.
According to an update from PWInsider, Isiah Kassidy hasn’t been used by AEW as he’s ’banged up’ rather than the company opting not to use him after Marq Quen’s injury.
“Isiah Kassidy is banged up and hurt. His absence in AEW is not a case of him not being used because of Marq Quen’s injury.”

When Private Party re-emerged on Dynamite in February, it ended an almost a full year of being sidelined through injury. Unfortunately, the former AEW World Tag Team Champions were only able to make three televised appearances for All Elite Wrestling before they were stopped by injury once more.
As for the future, Marq Quen’s injury was described as a tear, with it thought he’ll miss significant time before being able to return to the ring. In terms of Kassidy’s status, little is known about when he’ll be able to return to programming, but many remain keen to see if he’ll make his mark in the singles division while his partner continues his recovery.
