AEW’s San Diego Comic-Con Panel Revealed

SDCC 2026

All Elite Wrestling will once again be at San Diego Comic Con.

In recent years, AEW has made efforts to further connect with its fanbase by attending events such as San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic Con. The company has also incorporated wrestling storylines into some of its panels, including the reveal of the AEW/DC Comics crossover comic last year.

This year, AEW is set to return with a special panel featuring several of its top talents, including former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and others. The panel will take place in Room 6A on Friday, July 25, from 6-7 PM.

At first glance, the lineup may appear to be a random collection of wrestlers for a Comic Con appearance. However, in keeping with AEW’s approach, its talent are encouraged to express themselves through their characters, with many of those featured having showcased their interests in pop culture through their matches and entrances.

For example, Swerve Strickland has made several appearances dressed as characters such as Green Lantern, Static Shock, and most recently, Lobo. “Speedball” Mike Bailey is known for his love of gaming and has incorporated tributes to titles such as Balatro and Chrono Trigger into his presentation. Ricochet is a noted anime fan, with his faction The Demand adopting attire inspired by the Admirals from One Piece, among many other examples across the roster.

While it remains unclear what topics the six wrestlers will discuss during the panel, the appearance will provide AEW fans with an opportunity to interact with their favourite talent in a more relaxed setting.
