Will Ospreay Teases Using Tiger Driver ’91 At AEW All In
Will Ospreay is prepared to use a move he swore off in pursuit of the AEW World Championship.
The Tiger Driver ’91 has played a significant role in several of Ospreay’s storylines, including his rivalries with Bryan Danielson and MJF. The “Aerial Assassin” previously vowed to stop using the move after delivering it to Danielson.
Speaking with Soundsphere Magazine, Ospreay explained that he is willing to use every move in his arsenal to defeat Kenny Omega at AEW All In: London, even if that means bringing back the Tiger Driver ’91.
“I’d hit it on Kenny before, but our relationship back then was very volatile, I thought instead of being the next Kenny, I’ll just be the first me. And I put my flag in the ground: This is the style that I want to do, this is how I want to be presented. I would say there was a part of him that was jealous of me at that time, because maybe he wasn’t happy with himself. And there was a part of me that was so braggadocious that I genuinely thought, at that point, I was the best thing in the world. The first time we ever wrestled one another, he merked me. I’ve never felt more embarrassed in my life, and it kind of fuelled this anger, and this emotion that came out of me. I just wanted revenge, and it didn’t matter if it was my hero or not. There’s a friendship and a love there, but when it comes to pulling the trigger, I’ll do the right thing when it comes to it.”

Will Ospreay is riding high after booking his place in the main event of AEW All In: London at Wembley Stadium on August 30 by winning the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament, setting up a likely challenge for the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega in his home country. The pair have previously shared two notable encounters at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 and AEW Forbidden Door 2023, with their rivalry currently tied at one victory apiece. With Ospreay determined to capture the AEW World Championship, the Essex native has made it clear that he is willing to go to any lengths necessary to secure victory.
The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion has also aligned himself with Jon Moxley and The Death Riders during the build-up to All In, looking to gain an advantage ahead of their clash at Wembley. Omega began his second reign as AEW World Champion by defeating MJF on the Beach Break edition of Dynamite.
