Nick Aldis is planning a documentary to show WWE fans what he’s all about.

Former Smackdown General Manager Nick Aldis signed with WWE since August 2023. Despite working for the company for three years, he has yet to wrestle in a WWE ring. So, ahead of his in-ring return this Saturday, Aldis has revealed he’s working on something to help showcase his career thus far.

Speaking with Chris Van Vliet, Nick Aldis believes there is something in the works to document his career for fans who don’t know about his time as a wrestler.

“Well, I think we need to document my career. I believe that is in the works. I think it’s a bit of a crash course for the WWE universe. Is this is who this guy was before he came here? I think that’s necessary. Fortunately, there’s quite a good relationship with TNA and I believe with the NWA as well. So hopefully we can put together something compelling and substantial that really helps sort of fill that gap for people who don’t know, and the rest is up to me.”

-Nick Aldis

At 39 years old, Aldis is looking to impress the WWE Universe in a grudge match against GUNTHER at Summerslam, which has been building since “The Ring General” moved to the blue brand earlier this year. While further details haven’t been revealed on what’s in the works for Aldis, a video package highlighting his in-ring career in TNA and NWA before the match starts would certainly bridge the knowledge gap for WWE fans who are unfamiliar with his work. Given the company’s association with TNA in the modern day, access to the required footage is likely far easier to get that it may have been in the past.

Elsewhere in the interview, Aldis discussed the advice he received when he signed with WWE suggesting he should stay ready for a wrestling return. You can read more about that here.

As always we will aim to bring you more updates on Nick Aldis’s return to the ring as soon as we hear more.
