WWE Announces Hawaii Return For The First Time Since 2019

WWE has announced a live event taking place in Hawaii this fall.

Over the past number of years, the amount of WWE live events has drastically decreased. On a positive note, this lessens the schedule for wrestlers, perhaps preventing injury by allowing stars to rest more between matches. However, less shows mean talent aren’t as sharp, and fans have fewer opportunities to see their favourite competitors perform. Now, a special live event has been announced for a place they haven’t visited since before the pandemic.

According to a WWE.com article, the company will return to Hawaii, hosting a non-televised live event in Honolulu on October 16 at Blaisdell Arena. Going by the poster, the event will feature superstars such as Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan Jacob Fatu, The Usos, Oba Femi, and many more.

The company has also revealed details on a tryout taking place that day.

“Prior to the live event, WWE will host a tryout at Blaisdell Arena, providing prospective talent the opportunity to showcase their abilities in front of WWE recruiters, coaches and executives.”

Interestingly, this will be the first time since September 2019 that the company has held a non-televised live event in Hawaii with the last one also taking place at Blaisdell Arena.

Tickets will go on sale Friday August 14 at 4:00 pm ET/10:00 HST on Ticketmaster.com. A pre-sale will start Wednesday August 12 at 4:00 pm ET/10:00 am HST.
