Heather By Elegance Defeats Mara Sadè In Knockouts TV Title Quarterfinal

Heather By Elegance has now locked in her spot in the semifinals of the Knockouts Television Title tournament after beating Mara Sadè on Impact.

The match aired on the August 6 episode from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was the last of the quarterfinals. Both women made it through the opening round on the July 2 show, with Sadè beating Tasha Steelz and Heather getting past Allie. Heather made her entrance accompanied by The Personal Concierge and her Elegance Brand partner M By Elegance, while Sadè came to the ring alone.

The match opened with Sadè going for an early cover and getting a two count, as Heather answered with a stomp to the spine for a two count of her own. A top rope dropkick from Sadè brought another near fall before Heather began to zone in on the left arm. She went for a cross armbreaker, only for Sadè to roll through into a cover that came within a fraction of ending it, with Heather kicking out just before the three.

Sadè used her strength to take over from there, dumping Heather into the top turnbuckle before connecting with a clothesline, a splash in the corner, and a monkey flip. She followed with a series of strikes and then fought through the damage to her left arm to deliver a standing powerbomb, stacking Heather’s shoulders up for another extremely close near fall.

Heather went back to the arm in the closing moments and finished it there, climbing to the top rope and hitting a missile dropkick directly to the injured left arm, with Heather getting the victory.

The result completes the semifinal standings. Heather By Elegance will face Jada Stone, while Indi Hartwell meets M By Elegance in the other half of the semifinal bracket. You can read more about how the previous two quarterfinals played out here.
