Roman Reigns Reportedly Listed As A Heel Within WWE

WWE reportedly consider Roman Reigns a heel.
To close last night’s WWE RAW, Jey Uso attempted to deliver Solo Sikoa to Roman Reigns. However, during the segment, fans noticed the World Heavyweight Champion act more aggressive and confrontational to his cousins than he had since they reunited around WrestleMania 42. With elements harkening back to the “Tribal Chief” character which saw him dominate the landscape for almost four years between 2020 and 2024. Now, an update has emerged on how WWE view Reigns going forward.
According to False Finish, it’s believed WWE are listing Roman Reigns as a heel internally.

When Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam 2024, in what was his first appearance post-WrestleMania 40, he welcomed the crowd’s thunderous reaction and began life as a babyface. However, it was notable to many that the star felt different from other faces on the roster, and so a change in alignment may suit RAW’s top champion better in the coming months.
Plus, Reigns’ portraying a heel lines up well with his next known title defence, coming in Mexico City against the winner of WWE’s ongoing luchadore tournament. Regardless of who earns the number one contendership, the Mexican crowd will be baying for a new champion, so Roman will be competing with an arena of people already against him on September 14.
