Suzume Wins 2026 TJPW Tokyo Princess Cup

Suzume defeated Rika Tatsumi on Sunday to become the 11th woman to win the Tokyo Princess Cup, TJPW’s premier tournament. The 27-year-old was able to survive a vicious onslaught from the veteran Tatsumi, utilising the last of her speed to take out her opponent.

“The Bee Girl” is the first wrestler to win the Tokyo Princess Cup to do so while holding the International Princess Championship, TJPW’s secondary title. She’s been the title holder since March 29, and is currently having the longest reign the belt has seen since she lost the gold back in July 2025.

With this career-defining victory, Suzume will challenge Yuki Arai for the Princess of Princess Championship at TJPW Wrestle Princess VII on October 3rd. This upcoming clash will be the second time Suzume will challenge for the world title, with her first attempt happening on January 4th this year. That match famously received 4.75 stars from Dave Meltzer, and was roundly loved by TJPW fans.
