Will Ospreay Highlights Key Difference Between AEW All In Main Events

Will Ospreay reflects on what sets this year’s AEW All In: London main event apart.

This year’s AEW All In: London, which takes place at Wembley Stadium in London on August 30, will see Kenny Omega defend the AEW World Championship against challenger Will Ospreay. Just as importantly, every All In PPV main event to date has featured different wrestlers, highlighting just how diverse and stacked the All Elite Wrestling roster is.

In Ospreay’s mind, however, the key difference about this year’s clash is the theme behind it, as he explained to TV Insider.

“You look at all the All In main events. You look at the MJF and Adam Cole match. That was kind of more humorous leading in than a sporting contest. It was more to engage the audience a certain way rather than a full sports contest. It served its purpose. Then it was the crowning of the greatest wrestlers who ever did it, Bryan Danielson against Swerve Strickland, and the story that they told there. Then it was the guts and the drive from Hangman Page to try and strip away Moxley’s briefcase to reveal the AEW World Championship. This match, to me, two of the greatest wrestlers of this generation going head-to-head and finally finding out which one is the best.”

Things have become increasingly personal between Ospreay and Omega, including Omega putting Ospreay through a table on last week’s Dynamite to drive home the idea that he was “beneath him.” However, even with Omega’s presumed heel turn, fans are still debating who should win. Regardless of the winner, many are expecting an epic clash, with both men regarded as among the best wrestlers in the world. With just six days to go, anticipation continues to grow, and it will be fascinating to see how everything unfolds, as well as the reaction to the result, whoever comes out on top.
