Blake Monroe vs. Giulia Reportedly Discussed For WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event

Blake Monroe and Giulia could be set to face off at Sunday Night’s Main Event.

The August 21 edition of Friday Night SmackDown was originally set to see Blake Monroe make her in-ring main roster debut against Giulia. However, Monroe attacked Giulia before the bell, meaning the match never officially got underway.

According to False Finish, the pair could be set to face off at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 in Atlanta, which would mark Monroe’s in-ring main roster debut, should this one make it past the referee ringing the bell.

“Sources tell False Finish that Blake Monroe vs. Giulia has been discussed for SNME. Nothing official as of yet. If confirmed, it would be Blake Monroe’s official main roster debut match.”

The pair have shared the ring a number of times during their spells with STARDOM in Japan, though their only singles match came during the 2023 5★STAR Grand Prix, with Giulia defeating the then-Mariah May.

Confirmed for the card at State Farm Arena thus far are two big-time singles bouts, with Cody Rhodes taking on returning Randy Orton and rising stars Oba Femi and Bron Breakker facing off. Baron Corbin will also take on Lil Yachty, with the rapper looking to survive five minutes against the WWE United States Champion to secure Trick Williams’ rematch for the title.
