Adam Copeland Doesn’t Want Stipulations Against The Young Bucks At AEW All In: London

Adam Copeland doesn’t want his AEW All In: London debut to be overbooked.

Since becoming the AEW World Tag Team Champions, Cope and Christian Cage have overcome numerous challenges, and now the duo will look to make a dream match a reality when they step inside one of the world’s biggest stadiums to battle The Young Bucks for the richest prize in AEW’s tag team division.

In an interview with Rob Wolkenbrod of Forbes Sports, Copeland explained that this first-time-ever match does not need stipulations or to be overbooked with various distractions. Instead, he simply wants to go to war with The Young Bucks alongside Christian Cage and make the most of what could be his final few big-time matches in professional wrestling.

“I know some people are expecting stipulations, but it’s the first match between these two teams. You don’t need to start throwing stipulations and stuff and overbooking it. Just let us go. It’s the first time ever and a match that I assumed would never happen.”

The Young Bucks have battled just about every major tag team of their generation and some from previous eras, facing the likes of The Hardys, The Dudley Boyz, and the Motor City Machine Guns. Matt and Nick Jackson have done it all, and with hints that their own careers could be nearing their end, many expect this to be one of their final big matches before the potential arrival of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods as All Elite.

This tag team match will also mark the first time Cope has wrestled inside Wembley Stadium. From watching Bret Hart and The British Bulldog clash at SummerSlam 1992 to now teaming with his best friend Christian Cage against one of the greatest tag teams of all time, Cope will hope to leave it all in the ring when AEW All In: London arrives on August 30.
