Tony Khan Reveals Current Gate & Potential Runtime For AEW All In: London
Tony Khan has provided an update on AEW All In: London’s gate and runtime.
While many fans online are focused on the matches and potential debuts at AEW All In: London this Sunday, August 30, others are wondering how long the PPV will run and how successful it will ultimately be for the company.
Speaking at AEW’s All In: London press conference, Tony Khan revealed that the current gate for the Wembley Stadium event has surpassed $6 million.
“London’s such a vast and remarkable city, and I think it speaks to the great support AEW has in the UK that the top three shows in AEW’s history have all come from Wembley Stadium. Also, we set the record at The O2, so certainly four out of the top five or six gates in AEW’s history have all been in London and by far top three shows in attendance and in gate will all be in London. We’re approaching already a six million dollar gate and then some for this show. So, it’s one of the biggest success stories in professional wrestling history, and it’s gonna be an amazing event on Sunday.”

Regarding the runtime of All In: London, last year’s event in Texas ran for more than six hours from start to finish. Tony Khan, however, has indicated that this year’s show will be more contained, with the AEW President aiming to keep the event to a maximum of four hours.
“This is the first time I’ve mentioned this; it will be by far our best pay-per-view on HBO Max. With our partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery and all of the exciting things happening right now in the worlds of sports media and the business landscape, I think that’s a huge feather in AEW’s cap to hit the all-time pay-per-view right now for AEW All In London in a year where we’ve already had several of our pay-per-views hit that height. The business outlook for the show is tremendous. It’s going to be a show that will run, at most, on pay-per-view for four hours. I have the show paced out right now. Of course, things can always happen. It’s live television, but the way it’s paced right now, I think fans are really gonna like it. I expect this show will go live on pay-per-view at 1 PM Eastern, 10 PM Pacific. I expect the show to be over by 5 PM Eastern, by 2 PM Pacific.”

Whether All In: London actually stays within four hours, even excluding the Buy-In, remains to be seen. The main portion of an AEW PPV typically runs beyond four hours, with some non-All In events even approaching the five-hour mark. Given the matches on this year’s card and their potential runtimes, it would be easy for the event to stretch beyond Khan’s four-hour target.
Nevertheless, it’s clear that Tony Khan will be giving his all to All In: London, with the AEW President aiming to set a new benchmark for PPVs to measure against. We’ll see how everything unfolds this Sunday.
