Kevin Knight wants to see some female representation in The Don Callis Family.

All Elite Wrestling currently features a number of prominent factions, with The Don Callis Family standing among the largest and most influential groups on the roster. With nearly 20 members when everyone is present, the faction has become a major presence across AEW programming.

However, in an interview with Wresthings, TNT Champion Kevin Knight pointed out that The Don Callis Family is currently lacking a female member, with Red Velvet and Queen Aminata among those he identified as potential fits.

“I think what Don Callis Family is lacking right now is female power. We need some women in there. We got the size. We got the speed with me. You know, we got the legacy with [Kazuchika] Okada. I think we need a woman in there to really even out the field. It could be one, two, three. If I was to go based off the current roster, I like Red Velvet. I like her energy. Queen Aminata. I feel like they’d be great fire. They bring a whole different energy. I think that’s what we need. We need something to balance out the hormones. There’s a lot of testosterone. We’re always fighting with each other. We got to balance it out.”

Adding a female member could give another member of the women’s roster an opportunity to gain greater exposure while potentially helping to establish new feuds and rivalries. It could also provide a boost to the women’s tag team division, which has faced several setbacks in recent months, should the unit look to add more than one female member to their ranks.

Then again, adding another member to The Don Callis Family could potentially make an already large faction feel even more crowded. However, AEW already has several intergender groups, including the Death Riders and The Conglomeration, so adding another to that list could prove beneficial.

Looking ahead to this weekend’s AEW All In: London, Kevin Knight is set to defend the TNT Championship against Darby Allin in a Falls Count Anywhere match. Meanwhile, fellow Don Callis Family members Kyle Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada will compete in a triple threat match against former member Konosuke Takeshita, with Fletcher’s AEW International Championship on the line.
