RevPro Boss Andy Quildan Addresses Leon Slater vs. Liam Slater Not Airing on MyAEW
Andy Quildan questions if it’s omission was the wrong call
Similar to many other big international wrestling events, All-In saw various independent shows surround the weekend, with none bigger than RevPro’s 14th Anniversary show. Running at OVO Arena Wembley and featuring AEW regulars Daniel Garcia, Wheeler Yuta, and PAC, as well as the surprise names of Will Ospreay and Jeff Jarrett, the Anniversary show garnered a lot of attention both in person and online. However, with the show streaming live on MyAEW through RevPro’s working relationship with the company, fans using the service were left wanting when by Leon Slater’s match with Liam Slater wasn’t shown. Now, Andy Quildan has addressed why the broadcast cut away.
Speaking with POST Wrestling, RevPro owner Andy Quildan explained the rationale behind the decision and questioned if, in hindsight, he agreed with the decision.
“I was trying to make everyone’s life as easy as possible. My role, as an independent wrestling promoter, has always been to get the match in the ring to try and have foresight. You try to envision every single problem that could occur before it becomes a problem. And the last thing we want is for anything to become an issue on the day, or post-show, or anything like that. And it’s crazy; with the benefit of hindsight, maybe we did the wrong thing, because that almost created more attention on the situation. I think, as we do with everything, we have to learn, we have to evolve, we have to adapt and move forward. I don’t want to be involved in any wrestling politics. I always say, we are open to do good business with anyone. I know in business it’s almost impossible, especially when there’s so much tribalism that goes around, but I want to be on the good side of everyone. And I want everyone to know that when they do business with us, we will do good business and we will try and do best by the company, and I don’t want anything to be received as, we’re trying to sneak people into places.”

Slater vs. Slater pitted former RevPro British Tag Team Champions against each other as Slater Dojo leader Liam took on his old mentee in Leon. The match ended with a victory for Leon Slater and featured an appearance from British wrestling legend, Jody Fleisch. Many fans had previously speculated that the match was blocked from MyAEW due to Leon Slater’s TNA contract though this has been seemingly debunked. The match is now available to watch for free on RevPro’s YouTube channel.
The Anniversary show also featured an appearance from Zack Sabre Jr. of NJPW, who lost to RevPro fan favourite Jay Joshua. The show concluded with two major title changes, with Kanji defeating Alexxis Falcon and Connor Mills defeating former tag partner Michael Oku, both victors winning the promotion’s top gold for the first time.
