AEW Dynamite Reveals Special PAC Tribute Main Event
AEW Dynamite’s “Tribute to PAC” will feature a special main event featuring two of his biggest rivals.
As All Elite Wrestling prepares itself for yet another tribute show to one of its wrestlers, tonight’s Dynamite will be in honour of PAC. To that point, while the show will be full of emotional tributes to “The Bastard”, the company have now revealed a major match put on to honour the memory of PAC.
Taking to social media, Tony Khan revealed tonight will see the world champion Will Ospreay going up against Ricochet in a match specifically made in tribute to PAC. This won’t be for the title, but it will allow both Ospreay and Ricochet to perform in honour of their friend.
This is an apt main event because both Ospreay and Ricochet have had impressive battles with PAC all over the world. Ricochet had incredible matches with PAC in places like Dragon Gate during the earlier days of their careers. In more recent times, Ospreay fought PAC twice in All Elite Wrestling, including an all-time classic match at the 2024 All Out show for the International Championship.
After it was announced, both Ospreay and Ricochet posted on Twitter showing how much this meant to them.
As a reminder, while the show is dedicated to PAC, AEW head Tony Khan made it clear that all matches that are on the card will feature wrestlers who are there voluntarily.
