Connor Mills To Defend British Heavyweight Title Against Zandokan Jr. On October 17

A big crossover match is set to take place over the Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship.

Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro) in the United Kingdom announced the cards for their two Fantastica Mania shows on October 17 that they are co-producing with CMLL. The events will take place at The Hanger in Wolverhampton.

The first show will begin at 1pm and currently sports a four-match card. CMLL’s Okamura will team up with the Welsh “Top Tier” tag team made up of James Ellis and Josh Holly against Chicago Desailly, CMLL’s Fuego, and Isaac Murray. Then, former RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champ, Jay Joshua, will take on Black Tiger. JJ Gale will challenge the leader of Galeon de Fantasma, Zandokan Jr. And finally, Nino Bryant will have a massive singles clash with Hechicero.

Just a few hours later, RevPro and CMLL will return for a second show with another four match card as of writing. The opener will see Okamura and Top Tier once again team up in another trios match, this time against Fuego and the Contenders, which is a tag team made up of Elvin Narayan and Owen Swain.

Then, Zandokan Jr. will return to action, this time in a massive clash with Connor Mills for the RevPro Undisputed British Heavyweight Championship, a belt that Mills has held since August 29. Zandokan will be the first luchador to go for RevPro’s top prize since Angel De Oro failed to beat Michael Oku for the belt during a CMLL Martes Populares show in June of 2024.

Speaking of luchadors, Hechicero will be in the action in the show’s semi main event as he defends his CMLL World Heavyweight Championship against Liam Slater. This will be Hechicero’s fifth defense attempt, and his first since he beat Claudio Castagnoli and Zack Sabre Jr. at CMLL’s 93rd Anniversary show back on September 18.

And finally in the main event of the show, at least as of writing, the aforementioned Michael Oku will team up with the one and only Mistico in a tag team clash with Luke Jacobs and Ultimo Guerrero. Oku and Jacobs are arguably the two most talented guys working constantly in England these days, and Mistico and Ultimo Guerrero are frankly two of the best wrestlers of modern Lucha Libre.

Both of these upcoming Fantastica Mania events will be available to stream on RevPro’s website as well as on MyAEW.com.
