Tony Khan: I Don’t Know When Or Where, But Toni Storm Will Be Back In AEW

Tony Khan speaks on the status of Toni Storm.

On the March 18 episode of AEW Dynamite, Toni Storm was seen laid out backstage, with several clues pointing to different members of the roster as possible culprits. Since then, though, the angle hasn’t often been defences on-screen, and little is known about how long “The Timeless One” will be away. Now, Tony Khan has discussed her status.

At the AEW WrestleDream Media Scrum, Tony Khan spoke on Toni’s absence and potential return.

“The former World Champion ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm is certainly on a lot of our minds, and I can’t say when or where, but I know ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm will be back in AEW and looking to get payback for whoever it was that took her out.”

-Tony Khan

It’s fair to say that ever since Toni Storm began portraying the “Timeless” character, she’s been one of the most important entities in American women’s wrestling, second only, depending on who you talk to, to Mercedes Moné.

Through the likes of Moné, Willow Nightingale, and Thekla, the women’s division has been featured well of late, but many AEW fans are always hopeful that Storm will re-emerge before too long. This is especially the case with all the potential matchups she can still do, including possibly reuniting with Mina Shirakawa to go after the women’s tag titles.
