It appears as though everyone who participated in Blood and Guts came out no worse for wear.

Given the nature of violent cage matches like Blood & Guts, it can be easy for wrestlers to be unintentionally hurt regardless of the planning that goes into the match. On the November 4 episode of AEW Dynamite, a total of 12 wrestlers stepped into the dual-cage setup and had truly brutal bouts full of barbed wire, thumbtacks, being thrown off of the cages and onto tables and more. Yet, everyone appears to have made it out okay.

According to the Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline, it’s believed everyone emerged from Blood & Guts okay, though there was initially concern around Darby Allin’s tooth.

“It appears everyone in both Blood and Guts matches are OK. There was concern about Darby’s tooth after, of all things, his own knee hit his face on a Michinoku Driver bump, but turned out he was OK.”

While that’s good to hear,, it’s worth noting that similar news emerged following the triple threat ladder match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at All Out, though that seemingly wasn’t as successful in terms of avoiding injury as first thought. Despite suggestions that there was no serious aftermath following the show, Adam Copeland announced on the October 14 Dynamite that Christian Cage broke three ribs and suffered a collapsed lung during the contest, meaning he’s been unable to return to our screens since September 26.

Plus, while they don’t appear to have suffered an injury, Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor of the Brawling Birds have been pulled from an upcoming Pro Wrestling EVE show as a precaution since their appearance was set to be between Blood & Guts and their World Tag Team Championship defence at Full Gear.
