XenisS Win Open The Triangle Gate Championships

Dragongate has new Open the Triangle Gate Champions.
The upstart trio of El Cielo, Kota Minoura, and Yuki Yoshioka, otherwise known as XenisS, defeated Hyo, JACKY KAMEI, and Riiita from Love and Peace to become the new Open the Triangle Gate Champions in the semi main event of Dragongate’s event on Thursday.
The match ended at the 20:03 mark after Yuki Yoshioka hit his patented High Fly Flow to earn the major victory.
Love and Peace’s reign as the 100th holders of the belts lasted only 108 days, however they did successfully defend the gold on two occasions. While those don’t sound like impressive numbers, the matches these three had both before and during their run were massively impressive.
Now the 101st holders, XenisS will look to use their new found chemistry to keep the titles as long as they can. Before Love and Peace, the last team to reign with the Triangle belts for over 100 days were BxB Hulk, Kagetora, and Susumu Yokosuka from PARADOX, who were the 91st belt holders. These titles have flipped pretty quickly since then.
Something that’s super impressive about this team winning these belts right now is that this was only the 13th match they’ve wrestled together. El Cielo joined XenisS on September 27. It’s not only Cielo’s first championship he’s ever earned, it’s also Yoshioka’s, who has previously held the Open the Dream Gate Title.
