Since receiving his release from WWE in November of last year, Kross has made a number of appearances across MLW and NJPW STRONG, with numerous reports additionally confirming that Kross was booked for an ROH appearance at Supercard of Honor before the company’s regime change, on top of reports that he was originally scheduled to face Wardlow on AEW TV, before he ultimately turned down the offer.
Contrary to his dominant presentation during his time on NXT, Kross’ main roster WWE spell saw him stripped of the features that made him stand out on the black-and-gold brand, including his theme song, and most notably the presence of his wife Scarlett Bordeaux. At the time of his release, Kross was in the midst of a highly criticised repackaging that saw the former NXT Champion utilising a mask and gladior-like ring attire.
Fightful Select were unable to confirm what this news means for the future of Scarlett, and were additionally unable to hear from Kross himself on the news. As always, we’ll aim to provide any updates as soon as we hear more.
