The current AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo is undoubtably one of the most exciting talents across the wrestling world today, with his electrifying high-flying offence landing him at the number 8 position on the recent PWI 500 rankings. Previous reports have indicated that multiple American promotions hold an interest in acquiring Vikingo’s services, with the Young Bucks having been noted as wanting to bring the Mexican star to AEW.
Visa issues have been cited as the reason for Vikingo not appearing on AEW TV thus far, however according to a new report from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter this may be about to change, as it is believed that Vikingo will soon be receiving a U.S. visa.
“Vikingo may be getting a U.S. visa soon which he and promoters have been waiting on. RGR Promotions advertised him as coming soon and they were said to be working on a visa for him.”
