Adam Copeland has been cleared for physicality.
At Double Or Nothing 2024, Adam Copeland suffered a broken tibia during a dive from the top of the steel cage, with the injury forcing the 51-year-old to vacate the TNT Championship and have a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Now, an update has emerged on his condition and when fans may be able to see Copeland return to AEW.
Per PWInsider Elite, Adam Copeland has now been cleared for physicality, although he isn’t expected to return to All Elite Wrestling until he’s finished shooting material for Percy Jackson which is projected to conclude filming in January.
“PWInsiderElite.com is told that Copeland has been cleared for physicality but is not expected back with AEW (at least not regularly) until he is done with shooting material for the second season of Disney+’s Percy Jackson, where he plays Ares, The God of War. Hollywood sources indicate the season is currently shooting and is expected to wrap this January.”

At present, little is known about the exact return date of Copeland, but, should he be ready in January, the former TNT Champion could possibly be back on our screens for the ‘Fight For The Fallen’ edition of AEW Dynamite emanating from Asheville, North Carolina on January 1, but whether this happens remains to be seen.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Adam Copeland’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
