Adam Copeland plans on bringing his career to an end with All Elite Wrestling.

On October 1, 2023, Adam Copeland, formally known as Edge in WWE, debuted for All Elite Wrestling at the WrestleDream pay-per-view. Since joining the promotion, he has won the TNT Title twice, and is currently one half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions with Christian Cage, showing no sign of slowing down. But, with over three decades of experience, it’s fair to say the 52-year-old is closer to the end of his career than the start, he’s now looked ahead to where he’d like to retire.

Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Adam Copeland was asked if he will retire in AEW.

Yes. That’s where I want to retire. I know that may disappoint a lot of people, but I love it there. I love the company. I love the attitude. I love the exuberance. I love the drive. I love the excitement I see from the locker room. I don’t want to go anywhere else. I’m good. I did everything I could do there (WWE) and then some. And I think they got everything out of me and then some that they could have.”

Whilst competing for WWE as Edge, Copeland built his name by competing in legendary ladder and TLC matches alongside Christian against The Hardy and Dudley Boyz. The star eventually rose up to become an 11-time world champion in WWE, though, unfortunately, he was forced to retire in 2011 following a serious neck injury. Thankfully, he was able to make a stunning comeback nine years later in the 2020 Royal Rumble, going on to have three more years in the company before leaving for AEW.

Now a tag team champion, Copeland and Christian will defend their gold against The Young Bucks at AEW: All In on August 30 at Wembley Stadium in a first time ever dream match. This will also be Copeland’s first time competing at Wembley Stadium which is another accomplishment in his already decorated career.
