All Elite Wrestling’s VP of Post Production, Kevin Sullivan was let go by AEW on December 4th, a decision reportedly made by Mike Mansury, AEW’s Senior VP and Co-Executive Producer.

Kevin Sullivan, who is NOT the Wrestler Kevin Sullivan, was the mind behind a lot of video packages, online hype videos, and “Countdown” shows for AEW.

Mansuray allegedly informed Sullivan that AEW was moving in a new direction in 2024, Sullivan was apparently given no real reason for his firing by Mansury

Dave Meltzer provided additional details on AEW’s removal of Sullivan in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

“People in the division didn’t even know that Mansury was Sullivan’s boss, noting that among those who worked in production that was never made clear. The story in production is that nobody else was expected to be cut, but it was a team created by Sullivan so they are his guys. There was criticism from some that Tony Khan didn’t step in and stop this from happening given Sullivan’s tenure and work. Another person noted to us,“Another day one guy gone. Sad. Great guy. Worked tirelessly since the beginning. Really understood the original mission statement and feeling/image we were going for.” Others noted to us being in shock about it. Sullivan was heavily praised across the board.

Sullivan’s departure came as a surprise to most as he was instrumental in constructing the entirety of AEW’s post-production team, as well as being such a longtime member of the company

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Kevin Sulluvan as soon as we hear more.
