AEW may have sealed the deal with WBD.

All Elite Wrestling’s next TV deal has been a major talking point as of late, with the company’s current media rights deal ending later this year. In recent weeks, speculation has ramped up over the future of the partnership between AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery, and now there has been an update regarding whether there has been an agreement between the two sides.

Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, sources suggest that an agreement has been reached between AEW and WBD for a new deal.

“The belief from multiple sources is that AEW and WBD have agreed to a deal.”

-Dave Meltzer

Specifically, it’s noted that those with knowledge believe the deal to include pay-per-views on MAX in some form.

“Those who have knowledge of the deal have confirmed the WBD deal is done and that the PPV shows on MAX are believed in some form to be part of the deal.”

-Dave Meltzer

While it seems as if the working relationship is set to continue between AEW and WBD, there has yet to be any official word on a new media rights deal for All Elite Wrestling at the time of writing. Still, it appears as if a deal may be done, and that Max will be a big part of their next agreement.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on a potential new deal between AEW and WBD as soon as we hear more.
