Chris Jericho In-Ring Promo:
Jericho says he feels bad about not shaking Kingstons hand on Sunday, He asks Kingston to come out so he can shake his hand. Kingston comes out and says he almost didn’t show up on Sunday, but when he remembered people coming up to him saying they didn’t “off” themselves because they read his Players Tribune, he had to show up for them. Also says that Jericho only offered to shake his hand for himself.
Jericho offers Kingston his hand again and they shake hands. Garcia & 2.0 come out and attack Kingston & Jericho but Santana & Ortiz make the save. Jericho then turns on Santana & Ortiz, and join in attacking them with Garcia & 2.0. Hager comes out too and joins the attack. The Inner Circles has split up. Jericho gets on the mic and says himself, Hager, 2.0 & Garcia are the “Jericho Appreciation Society”
CM Punk vs MJF Video Package:
Highlights of CM Punk & MJF’s Dog Collar match from Sunday night with a few words from Punk shot after the match.
Hangman Adam Page (c) Defeated Dante Martin (AEW World Championship):
Nice defence for Hangman. Tony Schiavone attempts to interview Hangman post match, but Hangman takes the mic and calls Martin back to the ring and puts him over. Adam Cole interrupts and calls Hangman’s win against him on Sunday a fluke. Cole challenges Hangman to a 3 on 3 vs him and assumably the Young Bucks next week.
Bryan Danielson & Jon Moxley w/ William Regal Defeated The WorkHorsemen:
William Regal’s first appearance on AEW TV. Danielson submitted JD Drake. Tony Schiavone interviews Regal after the match. Regal got emotional and thanked Schiavone for helping him when he needed it in the past. He then puts Danielson & Mox over huge and gives a warning to all that step in the ring with them. This was just brilliant to be honest.
PAC Defeated Wheeler Yuta:
Another nice match. This match was announced during the previous tag match because World Title match didn’t go too long.
Backstage With Adam Cole, Young Bucks & reDragon:
Adam Cole cuts a promo on Adam Page about the 3 on 3 match next week. The Bucks stop Cole and say if its Hangman, they’re out. Cole tries to blend this by saying he was talking about teaming with Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish.
Backstage With FTR & Tully Blanchard:
Dax cuts a promo about being a Dad and getting revenge on reDragon. Tully stops him and says everything is about winning, Dax gets heated, grabs Tully and says this is about family. Cash Wheeler then sacks Tully.
AHFO Emergency Meeting:
Matt Hardy is voted out of the AHFO. Everybody turns on Matt and they beat him up. Darby Allin & Sting attempt to make the save but get outnumbered. Jeff Hardy debuts here and makes the successful save.
Backstage With Swerve Strickland & Tony Nese:
Nese interrupts Swerve as he’s starting to cut a promo. The two will be facing each other Friday on Rampage.
Tony Schiavone Interviews Wardlow in the ring:
Wardlow talks about leaving MJF and asks the crowd to forgive him for associating with him. He also talks about his humble upbringing and how MJF was just a way to get his foot in the door. Asks MJF to release him from his contract. Wardlow says that he is coming for the TNT Championship and a “different contract”, also puts the AEW Roster on notice.
Backstage with Keith Lee and QT Marshall:
Keith Lee is interrupted by QT Marshall as he starts a promo. QT mentions how they have the same enemies in Team Taz and that the Nightmare Factory has his back. Keith Lee say’s he’s good and walks away. QT Marshall says Lee will pay for this.
Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus (c) Defeated The Acclaimed (AEW Tag Team Championships):
Jungle Boy pinned Anthony Bowens
Jade Cargill Promo:
Mark Sterling & Jade Cargill put over that her next match will potentially make her 30-0 and Jade asks who wants to step up and receive her kiss of death.
Thunder Rosa Defeated Leyla Hirsch (AEW Womens Championship No.1 Contenders Match):
Red Velvet interferes behind the referees back and throws Hirsch back in the ring. Velvet celebrates with Rosa after the match, Tony Schiavone comes out and announces that he’s just been told that the AEW Women’s Championship match between Thunder Rosa & Britt Baker (c) next week will be a Steel Cage Match.
Britt Baker Backstage Promo:
Britt Baker cuts a promo on Thunder Rosa & Red Velvet. Also says shes not worried about the Steel Cage match
*TITLE CHANGE* Scorpio Sky Defeated Sammy Guevara (c) (TNT Championship):
Sammy Guevara crash and burned from the top rope through a table on the outside. Medical staff and Tay Conti attempt to take him away but he decided to continue. Paige VanZant attacked Conti which distracted Guevara, allowing Scorpio Sky to hit his finish and get the win.
After the match The Men Of The Year & American Top Team attack Guevara & Conti, and Paige VanZant signs her AEW contract on top of them.
