JAY LETHAL DEFEATS DARBY ALLIN:
Lethal picked up the win following interference from a man dressed like Sting. The man is revealed to be Cole Karter who joins Jay in attacking Darby until Sting’s music hits. But, instead of Sting, Allin is hit with a guitar shot from behind by Jeff Jarrett. He cuts a promo saying that wherever he’s been, he’s left an impact. He lists his accomplishments and declares that he’s coming after everyone on AEW.
BACKSTAGE WITH JON MOXLEY:
Moxley cuts a promo stating that tonight means more to Lee Moriarty than it does to him because Moriarty may feel snubbed by the BCC. Moxley claims that Lee isn’t violent enough but suggests that tonight’s match with teach Moriarty how to fight his way out of tough situations. He challenges Lee to bring out his inner demons and be violent in the match tonight.
VIDEO PACKAGE TEASING THE ELITE:
A video package airs which shows The Elite winning the Trios Championships at All Out before someone deletes the footage snd replaces it with that of Death Triangle winning the titles. Death Triangle also replaced The Elite on a poster which further teases the idea of what AEW would be like without them around.
JON MOXLEY DEFEATS LEE MORIARTY.
After the match, Ethan Page rushed to the ring and attacked Jon Moxley.
RENEE CHATS TO SARAYA AND…BRITT?
Britt does not show up to the interview. Renee asks Saraya why now was the right time to join AEW. Saraya says that she always wanted to join the company and feels she can add a lot to the roster. Renee asks Saraya about whether she is medically cleared but Saraya chooses not to answer and says she will reveal her medical status next week after consulting with one final doctor.
BACKSTAGE WITH WILLIAM REGAL:
Regal says that MJF still has a long way to go in becoming a true villain and all the potential in the world won’t help him against Moxley at Full Gear.
DADDY ASS’ BIRTHDAY BASH:
Billy Gunn’s fingers are still taped up following Swerve’s actions on Rampage. But, The Acclaimed give him some foam scissor fingers as a gift so that he can still scissor the team. They go to the crowd and pick out things to give to Billy for his birthday, this includes a sign in the shape of some scissors. The team run through his achievements, comically including him being voted as being in the worst segment of all time in 2006. But, it leads to their next gift of the ‘world’s best daddy’ trophy. Their final gift to Billy is a certification of adoption which they need a signature from Gunn to complete. The procession is interrupted by The Gunn Club who question why they didn’t get invited to their actual dad’s birthday party. Then, W. Morrisey and The Gunn Club attack The Acclaimed until FTR make the save. FTR begrudgingly hand the tag titles back to The Acclaimed.
BACKSTAGE WITH BRITT BAKER AND JAMIE HAYTER:
Britt welcomes us to her interview on her time. She claims she didn’t show up due to constantly being the victim of conspiracies. Jamie Hayter says she wants to wrestle and the two want to find opponents for Friday’s Rampage.
CHRIS JERICHO DEFEATS COLT CABANA:
Colt Cabana makes his AEW return to answer the challenge but is ultimately unsuccessful. Following the match, it looks as if the JAS will attack ROH commentator Ian Riccaboni before he’s stopped by Claudio Castagnoli. It breaks down into a JAS and BCC brawl.
BACKSTAGE WITH DEATH TRIANGLE:
Rey Fenix says that he is feeling ready for the three-way match tonight. He says he will win the All-Atlantic Championship and become a double champion. Pac suggests that Fenix uses the hammer to win tonight and says it’s just ‘something to think about’.
ORANGE CASSIDY DEFEATS LUCHASAURUS AND REY FENIX:
Cassidy pinned Fenix and after the match he is jumped by Pac. Shibata comes out with the Best Friends which makes Pac retreat. Shibata challenges Cassidy for Rampage.
BACKSTAGE WITH SWERVE STRICKLAND:
Renee questions Swerve‘s actions at the end of the match last week and Keith Lee interrupts to ask the same thing. An 8 man tag is set up for next week.
JADE CARGILL DEFEATS MARINA SHAFIR:
During the match, Nyla Rose taunts Jade with her own title. Jade wins despite Nyla’s presence.
VIDEO PACKAGE ON THE HISTORY BETWEEN JAMIE HAYTER AND TONI STORM:
Hayter will challenge Storm for the AEW Interim Women’s World Championship at Full Gear and a video package plays hyping the bout up.
SAMOA JOE DEFEATS BRIAN CAGE:
After the match, Gates of Agony ambushed Joe until Wardlow ran in and made the save. Just when it looked as if the job was done, Powerhouse Hobbs attacked Wardlow and held up the TNT Championship.
