AEW’s Bandido Battling Visa & Passport Issues

Bandido is dealing with visa and passport issues.
Squared Circle Expo VI is set to return to the Wyndham Indianapolis West across March 27 – 28, with multiple notable professional wrestling figures from past and present scheduled to appear, including former AEW World Tag Team Champion and current ROH World Champion Bandido.
However, Bandido will no longer be available to appear at Squared Circle Expo VI, as the organisers confirmed in a post on Facebook that the AEW star is dealing with visa and passport issues.
“I have some unfortunate news to report: due to visa and passport issues with the Mexican government, Bandido is no longer going to be able to appear at Squared Circle Expo this year. We are as disappointed as you are and were hoping that it was going to be resolved before the end of the week, but sadly that time has come and went.”

Regarding his planned participation at Squared Circle Expo VI, the post noted that a replacement opponent for Jake Omen at SCX: Circle City has been found and will be announced soon. Those who have purchased professional photo opportunities with Bandido will have the option to exchange them for another photo opportunity of equivalent value or receive a full refund.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has additionally taken to X to confirm the news of Bandido’s visa issues, though further details on the situation remain unclear at the time of writing.
Bandido fell short to Andrade El Idolo at AEW Revolution on March 15 and was absent from the following Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite.
