The legal proceedings involving Cash Wheeler will be heard in a trial.
In August, FTR’s Cash Wheeler was arrested for assault with a firearm after he allegedly flashed a gun during a road rage incident. Around two weeks ago, news broke that the prosecutors had decided to move forward with the charges against the 36-year-old, and we now know that a trial has been set for him to appear in court this May.
Per PWInsider, it’s believed that the court has set a trial date of May 20th, with a pre-trial hearing set to take place on May 5.
“AEW star Daniel “Cash” Wheeler did not appear today but was arraigned before Florida’s Orange County Court in Florida one charge of charge of aggravated assault with a firearm, a third degree felony in the Sunshine State. The court set a trial date of 5/20 with a pre-trial hearing set for 5/7 The court issued an order today that Wheeler must appear on 5/7.”

Should Wheeler end up with a criminal conviction, an aggravated firearms assault could lead up to five years imprisonment, five years probation and a $5000 dollar fine.
