AEW’s Eddie Kingston To Miss Beyond Wrestling Americanrana Due To CMLL Commitments

Eddie Kingston will miss Beyond Wrestling’s ‘Americanrana’ event.

On August 28, Beyond Wrestling, run by promoter Drew Cordeiro, will be running ‘Americanrana’, arguably the biggest event on their calendar. Previously, AEW’s Eddie Kingston had been advertised for tje show. However, it now seems “The Mad King” won’t be able to appear in Cranston, Rhode Island.

As per a recent post on Beyond Wrestling’s X account, it’s been announced that AEW star Eddie Kingston has a CMLL committment on August 28, and thus will miss the Americanrana event.

“Eddie Kingston will no longer be competing at Beyond Wrestling “Americanrana” on Friday, 8/28/26 as he is now scheduled to appear for CMLL in Mexico. We hope to have Eddie Kingston back before the end of the year if his schedule allows.”

It’s worth noting that Kingston, who competed for UK independent promotion Revolution Pro Wrestling back on June 7, has made it clear that this year will be the last he takes independent bookings, meaning Beyond will be especially keen to reschedule before 2026 is out. Next up in terms of indie dates, Kingston is set to challenge Charles Mason for the House Of Glory World Championship on August 5.

Of course, Beyond wrestling will be committed to putting on the best show they can at Americanrana. Other names scheduled to appear at the show include Ortiz and Jordan Oliver. Americanrana will stream on IWTV on August 28.
