AJ Styles hopes he can return to TNA through a WWE crossover.
When Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace shocked viewers by appearing on NXT and challenging Roxanne Perez, fans began to question whether we could see any more crossovers between TNA and WWE, and it seems as if this is certainly something that interests of of WWE’s biggest stars.
Speaking with Fraser Porter of Cultaholic, Styles confirmed that he hopes he is able to do something with TNA as part of their relationship with WWE, saying that it’s good for the younger talent of each company to get in the ring with those who have different styles.
“I would say that hopefully something like that happens. It’s good for not only talent in WWE to go to TNA, TNA to come to WWE, it’s better for the younger talent to get into the ring with some people who have different styles. It’s very important that we are well rounded and you can’t do that all in NXT. So the fact that we’re going to be able to do that somewhere else is great,”

For years, a potential TNA return for AJ Styles seemed impossible. But, with the company’s newfound relationship with WWE, it’s now particularly plausible that ‘The Phenomenal One’ could return to the promotion in which he is a former five-time world champion.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the possibility of AJ Styles returning to TNA as soon as we hear more.
