AJ Styles thinks his best WrestleMania match is with Shane McMahon.

In his 10 years with WWE, AJ Styles competed in nine WrestleMania matches, with his record being something of a mixed bag. Now, with a complete career to look back on, it seemed Styles’ reflects fondly on his match with McMahon.

Speaking on the Phenomenally Retro podcast, Styles praised Shane McMahon, calling their clash at WrestleMania 33 a perfect match.

“The best WrestleMania match I had was against Shane McMahon. It was. You got Shane, who is a perfectionist. He wants it perfect, and man, I get that. We just so happened to be able to place things where they should in the storyline we had going into it… made it a perfect match.”
