Alexa Bliss and WWE are believed to be far apart when it comes to contract negotiations.
Last week, it emerged that return plans Alexa Bliss had been stalled as a result of a contract stalemate between her and WWE. The 33-year-old was originally set to return on the January 13 Monday Night RAW in San Jose, but her comeback hit a roadblock when she reportedly wanted to return under a new contract and it seems the two sides aren’t close to resolving the issue.
Per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it’s believed that Bliss and WWE are far enough apart that there’s talk of a deal not being made.
“They were at least far enough apart that people are talking about not expecting a deal to be made.”

As of yet, Bliss hasn’t featured in any pitches for this weekend’s Royal Rumble Premium Live Event and it’s unclear when she will return to our screens. After it was initially speculated that Alexa would be set to work with the Wyatt Sicks when she came back, it was recently clarified that the hold up on her comeback hasn’t altered the long-term plans for the faction following their recent move to SmackDown.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the contract negotiations between WWE and Alexa Bliss as soon as we hear more.
