Andrade reportedly walked out of The Crash XIV Aniversario.
Since September, Andrade has been a huge topic of conversation. Whether it be his sudden WWE departure, his shock AEW return or the controversy regarding his potential one-year non-compete clause, the star hasn’t been able to avoid the headlines for long over the last few months. Now, there’s been an update on Andrade reportedly leaving an event early this past Friday.
In a new update from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it’s believed Andrade left The Crash XIV Aniversario event on November 7 after being unhappy at the show. It was noted that his non-compete is only valid in the US, meaning he is eligible to work in Mexico.
“Andrade was on the show, probably the main attraction on the show. He was there signing autographs and then he left. The only thing that we heard was that he was unhappy, so I don’t know what the story is. His non-compete is only United States so he can work in Tijuana, he can work Mexico City,”

Andrade will likely reappear for All Elite Wrestling once his non-compete period has passed, though, in the meantime his immediate status is unclear. With his clause believed to only apply to the United States, whether he takes any bookings in Mexico or elsewhere in future remains to be seen.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Andrade as soon as we hear more.
