A main roster return could be on the cards for the real-life cousins.
Last month, during an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that NXT stars Angel Garza and Humberto Carillo are under consideration to be called up to the main roster to align with Santos Escobar as part of his feud with the LWO.
It now appears as though this call-up is imminent, as PWInsider are reporting that the pair are expected at tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown taping and corroborated the reports of pitches to get them involved with Escobar.
“Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo, who have been working WWE NXT for some time, are expected at tonight’s Friday Night Smackdown taping in Green Bay, Wisconsin, PWInsider.com has learned. We are told there had been some pitches for the team to get involved with the Santos Escobar vs. LWO feud.”

The pair had previously been members of the main roster as both a tag team and as singles wrestlers and were drafted to RAW during the 2023 Draft earlier this year, however they’ve primarily competed on NXT since returning to the developmental brand in June.
With Rey Mysterio currently out of action and Carlito having been taken out by Escobar, the newly crowned NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee has been taking the fight to the former LWO member, although it seems as though Santos is unlikely to be a lone wolf for much longer.
