Anthony Bowens On What’s Next: I Have A General Idea, I Don’t Know Where Things Will Go

Anthony Bowens discusses his future after recent AEW exit.
When Anthony Bowens arrived in All Elite Wrestling, it wasn’t to much fanfare. However, during the pandemic era, he and Max Caster formed The Acclaimed, riding up the ranks and even became AEW World Tag Team Champions. However, the duo broke up, and both struggled on the singles scene to the point where AEW allowed their contracts to expire.
In a chat with Michael Fairman, Bowens noted what he felt was next for him.
“I have a general idea, but I just don’t know where things are gonna go. I don’t want to speculate. I’m taking everything one day at a time. I appreciate everybody’s support throughout all of this, and I got a lot of, ‘Stay.’ I got a lot of different things, and I appreciate people’s feedback. But I know deep down what I want to do and we’ll see if it works out.”

After his pre-match rap made reference to the recent missile attack in Riyadh, TNA Wrestling ultimately severed ties with Caster just a day after his debut. Earlier today, the former AEW talent released a video directly addressing the situation. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on what’s next for Anthony Bowens as soon as we hear more.
