‘The Fallen Goddess’ has reportedly suffered an injury.

When it comes to Ring of Honor, perhaps nobody is more key than Athena. The 35-year-old has been the ROH Women’s World Champion since December 2022 and has amassed over 500 days with the title, however it seems as if she hasn’t emerged from the recent set of tapings unscathed.

Per PWInsider, it’s believed that Athena has unfortunately suffered an injury to her left leg during the recent tapings for WatchROH.com. It’s said that the damage occurred when the champion took a bump through the ropes and landed on the floor.

Ring of Honor Women’s Champion Athena injured her left leg last night while wrestling on the ROH on WatchROH.com taping portion of last night’s AEW Collision taping, PWInsider.com has learned.

As of yet, the extent of Athena’s leg injury is unknown, and, as such, it’s not clear if the current ROH Women’s Champion is expected to be out of action to recover. We wish her a quick recovery and hope that the damage doesn’t keep her out for an extended period of time.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Athena’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
