Bianca Belair has given an update on her injury status.

At WrestleMania 41, Bianca Belair came up short in a triple threat match with IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley over the Women’s World Championship. Unfortunately for ‘The EST’, Bianca came away from the match with multiple broken fingers, an injury that has taken longer than usual to heal. Now, Belair has given an update on her status heading into SummerSlam.

Speaking to CBS Sports, Belair said that one of her fingers still won’t bend, but she’s on the final part of her recovery.

“I broke it in three places and the joint. It healed, but it won’t bend. You can’t wrestle with a straight finger because it’ll break again… I can’t even sew right now. I can’t even make gear. We’re on the tail end of this healing process, so we might have time. But you never know. Crazy things happen.”

Belair has remained out of action since the injury, though she did act as the special guest referee for Jade Cargill’s match with Naomi at WWE Evolution. While her exact return date is unclear, it doesn’t seem as if it’ll be too long before the former WWE Women’s Champion is back in the fold.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Bianca Belair’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
