Big E has said he’s still not cleared.
Over two and a half years, Big E sustained a fracture to his C1 and C6 vertebrae which has cast major doubt over his in-ring future. However, the former WWE Champion made his return to TV just over two weeks ago in a segment which saw him shunned by Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods with his involvement leaving many to wonder whether we’re close to Big E’s long-awaited comeback. Now, the 38-year-old has offered an update on his condition.
Appearing on The Mike Broomhead Show, Big E confirmed that he still isn’t cleared, but is grateful to have no issues or pain at present.
“I broke my neck, two and a half years ago, in three places, including my C1 in two places. I still haven’t been cleared. Thankfully, I feel great and don’t have any issues, nothing like that. Didn’t need surgery. I was in a hard collar for three months. There are very real risks. We had a suplex that went wrong and I’ve been out since. I’m grateful to have no issues, no pain, nothing like that,”

Still, many fans are hoping that Big E continues to be involved with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods on RAW and all will remain hopeful that Big E can return to the ring one day. Regardless, we continue to wish Big E all the best in his recovery.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Big E’s continued road to recovery as soon as we hear more.
