Bronson Reed discusses his ideal matchups for Crown Jewel Australia.

At present, we’re just over two weeks away from Crown Jewel 2025, taking place in Perth, and many of the WWE’s Australian talent will be jockeying for positions on the card. One of the company’s most prominent stars from ‘Down Under’ is Bronson Reed, who’s currently featured heavily on RAW as part of ‘The Vision’. Now, the 37-year-old has detailed his ideal match when Crown Jewel arrives in his home country.

Speaking to The Wrestling Classic, Bronson named Roman Reigns and John Cena as possible opponents for Crown Jewel.

“I feel like if it’s up to me, you know, I there’s two people obviously in it and I’m gonna call out the two biggest names in the company, and it’s either one, I run it back with Roman Reigns, you know, I busted his ribs open after Paris, so  I don’t know if he’s even medically clear, or two, I get in the ring for the first time with John Cena. I know it might make some of the fans unhappy, globally, if i was one of John Cena’s last opponents, but in Australia, you’re coming into my home. That’s where the Tribal Thief is, you know, he’s running rough shot.”

Following on from Super ShowDown 2018 and Elimination Chamber 2024, Crown Jewel will be WWE’s third Premium Live Event to emanate from Australia. At their last event in the country, Australian star Rhea Ripley was the centrepiece, taking on Nia Jax for the Women’s World Championship in the main event. Using this precedent, it’s likely Reed will be a major feature of WWE’s upcoming show.

While we don’t yet know what role Reed will play in Australia, earlier today WWE officially announced that John Cena will take on AJ Styles in Australia, marking their first singles encounter in seven years.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the plans for WWE Crown Jewel as soon as we hear more.
