Bronson Reed Reportedly Set For Surgery With Torn Biceps, Was Originally Set For WWE Elimination Chamber & WrestleMania

Bronson Reed is set for surgery as WWE’s WrestleMania plans change once again.
During the February 23 edition of Monday Night RAW, Bronson Reed suffered a distal bicep tear in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Jey Uso and ‘The Original’ El Grande Americano. Uso went on to secure the victory, though it has since emerged that Reed’s injury prompted WWE to alter its creative plans.
PWInsider have now provided an update on Reed’s injury status, reporting that he is expected to have undergone, or may already have undergone surgery. The outlet also notes that he had originally been slated to qualify for the Elimination Chamber ahead of his planned involvement at WrestleMania 42.
“He is expected to undergo surgery shortly for a torn biceps, if it hasn’t happened already. There is no word yet how long he will be out of action. WWE will have to reconfigure plans as he was originally slated for the Elimination Chamber and also figured into Wrestlemania 42.”

The report further states that Reed was sent directly to Birmingham, Alabama, following RAW, with Atlanta’s close proximity to the city working in his favour.
Bronson Reed now joins both fellow and former Vision stablemates Bron Breakker and Seth Rollins on the injured list, as WWE continues its build towards WrestleMania 42 amid lower than anticipated ticket sales for the Las Vegas event.
Jey Uso will join Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and LA Knight inside the Elimination Chamber in Chicago, Illinois this Saturday, with the winner earning a shot at the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Bronson Reed’s injury status as soon as we hear more, and we continue to wish him all the best in his recovery.
