The former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion is seemingly staying put.

Throughout the past few months, multiple WWE Superstars have made the headlines regarding their contract status heading into 2024, including the likes of Seth Rollins, Drew Mclntyre, Sheamus, and Becky Lynch, but it now appears as though one name has committed their long term future to the company.

Fightful Select are now reporting that Charlotte Flair has agreed to a contract extension with WWE, corroborating a recent comment from WWE Hall of Famer Madusa.

“Fightful has learned that Charlotte Flair
agreed to a contract extension with WWE recently that will keep her with WWE for several more years. Madusa had said on her podcast recently that she’d heard this as well, and it took quite a while for people within the company to hear the same.”

The news follows yesterday’s reports that both Rey and Dominik Mysterio have re-signed with the company, with Fightful noting that Flair’s extension came before those two, and thus, the 37-year-old’s extension appears to be the first since the TKO merger.

Additionally, the report notes that Flair’s new deal comes with a significant financial increase over her last contract and is one of the highest-paying deals to a woman in WWE history. Furthermore, a travel bus was reportedly included in the deal, which are said to be becoming increasingly more common amongst professional wrestlers.

Charlotte is currently absent from WWE TV, with PWInsider recently reporting that she suffered a torn ACL, meniscus, and MCL when she fell fell from the top rope while wrestling Asuka on the December 8th SmackDown, with surgery set for as soon as it can be scheduled.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Charlotte Flair’s WWE contract extension as soon as we hear more, and we wish her all the best in her recovery.
